Some of our members might not realize the recent loss that we all have endured and without taking away from a very well written article (Link below), we wanted to provide a little background.
Cailee Hills is a Sophomore Gymnast at the University of Michigan and an original USPC Athlete. She committed to Michigan her Sophomore year of high school. Shortly after her decision to attend Michigan, Cailee battled an injury that adhered her to a wheel chair for many months. In 2014, Cailee’s father, Chip Hills was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After a long fight, Mr. Hills passed away this October. His optimism inspired and left a strong imprint on those around him. The Michigan Women’s Gymnastics team developed the motto ‘Flip for Chip’ and dedicated the whole 2015-16 season to Mr. Hills.
