As most of you are aware, we have larger plans for the future of USPC. These plans include a larger facility fully equipped with the newest and greatest in sports performance. A little additional information about our plans: U.S. Performance Center has filed a rezoning petition to build a new Olympic-certified youth-training facility next to Jay M. Robinson Middle School on Ballantyne Commons Parkway. The center will include a domed facility with an indoor track and a two-story, 60,000-square-foot building with a weight room, an aerobics room, physical therapy services, and offices. Also located at the new facility will be a performance field, multipurpose fields, sand volleyball courts, a baseball field, outdoor batting cages, tennis courts and a 5K trail. Plans also call for the existing Robinson Middle School gym will to be renovated and expanded.
While the plans are still in the developmental stages, the dream has never been more of a reality than it is now. Click the link below to read an article in the Charlotte Business Journal.
